Santa Fe (Spanish: santa--holy, fe--faith) is a city located in Galveston County, Texas. As of the 2000 census, the city had a total population of 9,548. The town is named for the Santa Fe Railroad (now part of BNSF Railway) which runs through the town. (More Info and Source)
